Did your goal change when you got close?

So I'm 12-13 lbs from my goal of 165. I'm a guy, 5' 9". According to the charts 165 is on the top side of normal, and it was a stretch when I chose it.

Now that I'm close, I'm pretty sure that I won't be concave at that level. I'm thinking of shifting it closer to 150.

Did anyone else modify your goal? How did you decide what number to choose?

Absolutely,

I will declare goal at 175, but I can see that I could easily take off another 5-10 pounds of fat.

It is easier to 'see' the extra weight when you are so close to goal.

That is my experience anyway.

Cheers, you are doing so well.

Yes, I did, too.

My goal was 150 but when I hit that over the holidays...I couldn't get in for an unfill until Jan...

I'm now 139. I modified it to the 140s...anywhere in the 140s is fine with me.

Yes, but I knew I would. I felt I "had" to set a reasonable goal, not an overly ambitious one because everyone told me so.

But I knew 75kg wouldnt be allright, that's almost 170lb. At 5ft 10, I knew I'd be healthy weight but I woudlnt call myself "slender" at that weight.

I want to be more like 145. ATM I'm in the mid 150's. My build is naturally quite thin and unless I am light, at my height I just tend to look "big".

Yep. Things change.

At my very first goal of 75kg, at my height, I was still pretty big (dare I say it - Fat?).

At my second goal of 63kg I was ok, but I could have really dropped a few kilos still.

At my third goal of "where ever my body ends up is fine with me" I feel and look fantastic.

Yes my original goal was 170 but changed it awhile back to 160 now going to change it to 150 but not until I hit the 160 mark

For me this journey hasn't been that difficult - I have never in my lift lost this much weight and originally didn't know what to expect but now - I can see that I can attain my goals - has movtivated me - this journey has shown me that I can and will be healthy...
