I had my preop and all is well but i need my galbladder removed now i'm freaked out. I did not know that i had problems. so next week they take it too. so my questions is what kind of recovery am i looking forward to? healing? will I be sore and can I go back in a week to work? thats what I had planned only one week. i may be able to take 2 more days but my dr( dentist/boss) utilizes me. I guess I do not want any problems with my job and i dont want any issues with healing. any thoughts?

I only took a week when I had my gall bladder out but I should have taken another week. I was teaching second grade at the time so if you are able to sit at your job you might be ok in a week. I am not banded yet and didnt' have them done at the same time so I probably don't know what I am talking about. You are way better off having them done at the same time rather than lose a little weight and have to go back in for the gallbladder. Be glad they discovered it before you had symptoms. Gallbladder symptoms are bad. Good luck!
