Introduction

I am scheduled for band-land on March 5th 2008. I am excited but not too excited because I want to be sure I can get it first before I actually get excited. I still have to meet with a pulminologist, cardiologist and psychologist per my insurance before I'll know for sure. I weigh 286 lbs. and I stand at 5'8''. My goal is to gain a new lease on life and live the healthiest life I can. This surgery means more to me than just weight loss, cus truth be told I like being a big girl! But I want to be a smaller big girl LOL.

Anywho, can anyone tell me about the pre-operative diet? When did you start it, did it make the adjustment easy? I'll search the site for more info on this...
