Putting a face to a name

Hi everyone -

I thought it would be nice to put faces to names and get some pre-op pictures on here. To start us off, here is one taken of me around Thanksgiving and one biking this past summer! Since I've never posted any pictures, I hope this comes out.

gibson, no one here is ugly. We are all beautiful, both inside and out. The only difference is that we are working on making the outside a work of art. I've read many of your posts and you are a bl

It's so exciting to pics of my Double V's! Honestly, some of you girls who say you are only halfway there have my dream bodies! (marathinner and JaxBandster come to mind!) I just want to look nice and curvy in jeans and I'll think I'm a hottie! I've never wanted to be bony (thank GOD, since bony is a physical impossibility in my family!)

You are all so beautiful!

And Ezma, I can tell a huge difference in your waist! I don't have boobs but the rest of our bodies could be twins! (Ponytails and all!) I can't wait until I've lost as much as you and can start to see it for myself!

Queen...no WAY are you 51!! You look absolutely beautiful!! Keep up the good work!!

Marathinner..bless you sweetie! :biggrin2: I certainly am and my daughter is 32! HA! I also have a 23 year old son in college!:crying:

Thank you Ezma!:blushing: My doc said I'm a third of the way there! Whew! We'll get there! We all will! We got each other to help one another when we're low and to be there to celebrate with each other when we are going strong! :biggrin2: Another great reason to be a Victorious Valentine!!:w00t:

Hello ALL!!

Wow.. this is so great to put a face to a name. I had to do some digging as I dont allow full body shots neither.. but i found these which are making me cringe.

The picture with the camel... my face.. not sure if it was due to the smell or the thought of my father taking my full body pic and having nobody in front of me to hide me..lol

Anyhow.. these are my befores... I am scared to compare to now in fear i wont see a difference but i will try to get the courage to take some soon.

Hugs to all

Lynn

You are so beautiful! And you are so close to your mini goal. Congrats! And I love your name. But then I might be biased since Lynn is my middle name. :biggrin2:

Thank you Ezma, that is so sweet and kind of you to say. I don't feel I am beautiful.. well.. at least not on the outside:frown: but this is why i got the band.. so my outsides can catch up to my insides (inshallah, God willing):rolleyes2:... as for my mini goal.. i was so gung-ho 2 weeks ago thinking I was there.... I got a little too cocky and then hit yet another plateau )#&_$*&@#(^@% .. I have to admit i was being hard on myself but considering I am dealing with constant hunger because i have yet to have a fill, I decided to go easy on myself and still see the accomplishments I have done instead of the failure to reach my mini goal by my set date.

Again.. thank u for your kindness

Love Lynn:wub:

Lynn! You are stunning! Don't get too hard on yourself since you haven't had your first fill. You'll feel a bigger difference in your band if your fill is pretty substantial! Even if it's not you will do great because you have that CAN DO attitude!!

GF you look GREAT!! :smile2:

I hope to look half as lovely at 51. BTW, good for you going to that walk, you're doing it lady! I am so proud of you!!

Lynn! What a beautiful smile you have!

You know, you should take some pics really often. I didn't want to at first either, but as the weight and the months drop by I am seeing a difference every time with every new set. I am glad I chose to do this. It is very motivating to the self. Don't wait too long. I usually take a set about every 10 lbs. although I failed to take some at 249. I know there is a big difference in myself in just that short time and I will never get back there again. It was a moment in time I will forever have missed... don't let that be you!

Irene! What a sweet compliment! As I have told you before, you and all the other wonderful people on this forum inspire me! I see all the changes that all of us are making..some not as fast as we'd like but the changes are there and it's really happening!:tt2: (((((*hugs*))))) Again thank you sweetie!!
