Jessie,

But how would we know if he did a "good job" if we aren't qualified FACS surgeons who are also members of the ASBS or more specifically, if we aren't a bariatric surgeon?

I haven't clicked on it yet (I'm assuming you mean the TOP row, 2nd from the left?), but am guessing it's a video of your surgery?

Thanks for posting the link, it was interesting to see how it is done. As for doing a good job, I don't know, I'm not an expert.

Starting to feel better after the weekend. Anybody else have experiences on recovery time. How long did it take to get back to normal?

I'm one of the lucky ones....surgery on the 8th and back to work on the 11th.

I have had no pain or any other side effects from the surgery. No gas pain, even my stomach doesn't hurt. I have no problem drinking the clear fluids, I don't crave anything.

I still can't believe it and waiting for the pain to sneak up on me!

I've just always been very lucky on the healing side of life and I have a very low threshold for pain. I just did or didn't do everything they told me too.

I give a lot of credit to the Dr as I have very little black and blue, which means they took care when they were inside.

Does anyone have a good basic workout plan for post op?

I want to get to the gym, but I do not want to end up over doing it.
