Hi!

Hey! My name is Alison and I got my surgery on Dec. 27 so I'm about 2 weeks out. I saw my doctor last Wed. and he told me I had lost 13 lbs since the last time I saw him which was about a week before my surgery! I was very happy to hear because the night before I was talking with my mom about how I didn't think I was losing anything! Haha. My incisions are healing pretty well. All except where that damn port is! I had a little problem I think he called it a seroma? But other than that they said I'm doing great! I'm a senior in college and I go back this Sunday. I'm a bit nervous about how I will do without my parent's support and being in that environment. Not to mention that my 21st birthday is coming up on Jan 22! Ack! Haha. Alright, well sorry this was so long, but I don't really know anyone else who is going through all of this and so I'm just excited to share the experience with all of you!

Thanks! I actually just went back for a check up today and I lost another 3 lbs! So far so good. I scheduled my first fill for Feb. 13th. Before I went to my first visit after surgery, I was positive I didn't lose anything either and then when I got there I was pleasantly surprised! So I wouldn't get too worried about it. Plus, we just got it done! We gotta give it some time. At least that's what my mom's been telling me... lol. Good luck with everything too and thanks for responding!
