Heya Ladyroz! I am with you on the 7th. I am very very excited as well. However, I think today a twinge of nervousness has struck. I dont know why cause I haven't worried at all for the 4 months I have been pursuing this. Oh well, 72 more hours and I can look back on my nervousness and laugh. My new life is soon to begin! Looking forward to hearing how everything goes for you!

Don't be scared David!!! You are making a wonderful choice. I'll let you know how my surgery goes tomorrow. I'm a little scared, but more excited about the internal tool I will now have to control my hunger. I've been very successful losing weight several times (up to 100 lbs), but I've never been able to keep it off and it comes back with 30 more friends (lbs) each time. Take Care and I'll keep you posted after my surgery tomorrow. I'm having it at GW Hospital in Washington, DC and they are keeping me overnight.

I should have been banded since nov 20, however many hurdles have been place in my way. I intend to 'ovahkum' all of them. Tomorrow (7th Jan. 08) is the date and i can't say that I am as excited as you guys are, (having done this twice already). I am just anxious to get it behind me. All the best to all of us and see you all on the other side of surgery.

David - I'm home from my surgery. Everything went as expected. I'm a little sore and tired, but feel very good considering I just had surgery yesterday. It wasn't bad at all. Are you staying the night at the hospital, or coming home the same day?

Glad to hear all my fellow Jan 7's are doing good! I'm down 10 lbs already!! Still ravenous!! 2 more days till the creamy stuff!!! I've never looked so forward to having a Slim Fast shake in my life!!
