Where can I get my band checked?

I am having some discomfort (not pain) at my port site and near what I think is my stomach area but a little higher. This sounds like I may have a slippage and I want to go somewhere locally and get it checked. I am not having problems with vomiting or PBing. Am I just neurotic?

Where can I go where....

1) they understand lapbands

2) they will do it since I had the lapband put in in Mexico

3) it won't cost a fortune because it will be self-pay. My insurance specifically excludes bariatric surgery complications.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Spokane is a little far but Dr. Lee Trotter at Spokane Surgeons will take Mexico patients. It may be worth your time to at least give him a call.

Dr Fox has an office in Richland (Tricities). I don't know how far that is for you, but I really like him. He does take patients from mexico. His phone number is 509-943-0710. I hope you are feeling better. Let us know how it turns out.

You can also see Dr Fox Sr in Auburn. He also has a new surgeon starting this month. Their number is 253-472-9872. I hope you feel better soon!! I'm not sure how much an appointment is but to have a fill appointment was $225.00.
