New with question

I am new here and have been reading some ppl's post's for about a week now. I was wondering if anyone here has a health issue that has caused their weight gain? I have a thyroid issue and had rai in 04 which has killed off my thyroid and therefore has caused a weight gain. I also have pcos which puts weight in middle. I am concidering this precedure but not sure if it will help with my health issues. Any input would be great and congrats to all that are on their way to a healthier you!

I don't know much about thyroid issues but I have pcos, and there is a thread on here with a lot of people with pcos and they have lost a lot of weight, so it can be done. Hopefully there is someone out there than can answer the thyroid part of the question for you...
