Diabetic control after bypass

I had my bypass in 2018 to try to reverse my diabetes. Unfortunately even after reaching normal BMI I was still on insulin. I had a twisted bowel in 2019 and developed sepsis, after a year in hospital and 2 years of recovery I am much better. But recently my blood sugar levels keep dropping low. I have not changed my eating habits or exercise regime. Has anyone else years after surgery blood control changed.I have actually put on 6 lbs in the last 6 months so I know it's not because of excess weight loss. Any advise gratefully received. Thank you.
