A Pain In The Port

Hi everyone :)

I was banded on the 21st of December, and I have dutifully kept to my liquids-only post-op diet, even on Christmas Day. The gas pain was difficult for the first few days, but that's gone now.

What concerns me is that I'm constantly aching where I think my port would be. Getting up from bed or from a chair is agonising, and I know it's probably from the strain on the muscles where the port is embedded. But how long does this usually last?

I'm guessing I probably strained it moving around too much over Christmas. But I don't remember doing 10,000 sit ups - which is exactly what this feels like! :faint:
