Any July Surgeries Scheduled?

I'm scheduled for surgery this coming Thursday (7/11). Anyone else having their surgery this month? Hoping to find a buddy! ?

In the pre op section you should see a July surgery buddies thread. They will probably find you here too but if you can’t find it try doing.a search for July surgery

I had my bypass July 9th.

Hey, Bill! How was it? I had the Gastric Bypass RNY with the deep stitch to prevent a future hernia. Still hard to get out of bed without hurting, but definitely doing MUCH better on day 8!!

I’m doing good. I took a Tylenol every 4-6 hours and oxycodone every 6 hours for the first week. Now I just take Tylenol in the am and oxy at night before bed. Today was the first day no pain getting out of bed. I also have an adjustable bed and haven’t sleep completely flat yet. I hope it gets easier for you soon
