Hey guys this is my first time here. My surgery is carded for March 25th and I’m super excited and also super nervous. Any words of encouragement or advice are welcomed.

I just had mine on 3/15. This whole process went super fast. I just started the full liquid diet yesterday.

Wow I’m glad that it was successful! I’ve heard that the liquid diet part is one of the hardest parts of it. How is it going for you so far?

The first couple of days were really difficult, but today I liquified cream of wheat (recommended by my surgeon) and it was a game changer! It’s nice to use that for breakfast and have cream soups for lunch and dinner. I’m currently struggling with drinking so many protein shakes throughout the day because I’m not hungry.
