Incision questions???

Hey all! I am wondering about the incision sites????

First, how many cuts do you have???? I have 7 and was surprised to find that out since I am considered a "lightweight" at 85lbs over.

Second, my steri-stips have begun to peel off (at 6 days post surgery) and are leaking a bit??? Is this to be expected??? It doesn't even look like they are sealed with anything beside the glue which is pealing away??? I don't want deep scaring!!!!:help:

I have 5 sites. 4 tiny 1/4 inch sites and 1 larger 3/4 inch port site. The 4 sites have dermabond and steri-strips. The port site is protected with dermabond, steri-strips as well as a bullet steri protector.

I have five as well. Three are really small, one is about twice that size, and then the port is twice the size of the medium one.

All of my steristrips are gone except the one over the port. It can stay there forever as far as I'm concerned. I am *NOT* pulling that thing off!

I got banded the 19th I have 5 cuts 3 about 4mm and 1 big one that has I think 5 staples in. the small cut that is the lowest on my belly the strips fell off and it looks open. I put some antibiotic cream on it and peroxide this a.m and re bandaged it.
