Tomorrow is the day!

I am doing well with the liquid diet. I have lost 3 more pounds and the last few days. I have a few questions. Can anyone e tell me how many ounces at a time are normal for your first week after surgery? I am trying to plan ahead.

What surgery are you getting?

How much you get post-op will be up to your doctor and the plan he/she puts you on. I had 4-1oz cups that I was too drink every hour after the 24 hour no liquids of any kind was lifted because my barium study came back showing no leaks. I had RNY. After that I moved to full liquids and came home from the hospital on full liquids tolerating around 4oz at a time.
