Sore throat/esophagus after fill?

I got my 2nd fill this past Friday because I've been stuck on my weight loss for months now. I did liquids that day, and mushies yesterday. Seems to be somewhat more restricted. Yesterday I started noticing that I was coughing, productive coughing from the chest with a bit of soreness down my esophagus. This morning, I woke up with major congestion and sore throat and kind of a burning sensation down my esophagus and into my chest.

Could be a cold, but this sensation down my esophagus has me thinking that it has something to do with the adjustment. Anybody get this kind of reaction? I was thinking it might be some GERD type reaction.

When I got my second fill I experienced the same type of thing. Are you pbing? I had a hard time keeping water down. I waited almost 7 days and had to have a unfill. He took out .4 of a .7 fill and I am doing great now. If you are pbing or having still having that problem you may want to have a slight unfill. I thought mine might get better over a few days but it actually got worse. I was very uncomfortable by the 7th day and when he took some out it was a instant relief. Since my experience I am a firm believer that no one should suffer with a overfill.

I hope you are feeling better soon what ever you decide?

Take care,

Kathy

I had the same feeling w/ my first fill. I had a terrible burning sensation that lasted about two days. I could not eat anything and just took some over the counter chewable heartburn tablets, w/small sips of water. yes I think it was you adjustment.

Thank ya'll for responding. Seems like I have gotten the flu. I'm not Pbing, but I haven't really eaten any hard protiens yet. Got a terrible sore throat.

I will keep an eye out for being too tight. Thanks again for your advice.
