Hello! Thought I would start out this group as I have a surgery date for Jan 4, 2022!! I'm so excited and a bit anxious for the pre-op diet - I will be starting it while on vacation - but what a great way to say Hello to the New Year!!

Crossing the fingers that I can get a surgery date in January. I have a pre-op appointment on the 17th and hope to get my date then! Super excited for this opportunity.

Hi buddy! My surgery date is 1/11! I’m so excited. I’ve been browsing different liquid diet kits today because that’s the part that makes me most nervous also. Still so excited though!

Mine is also 4th jan in uk. Super excited and planning and thinking ahead what I need. Going to be best 2022 ever.

I submitted all the documents 2 weeks ago to my Surgeon’s Office. I’m awaiting:

1. 2 more appointments with my Surgeon Signing the consent form, picking a Surgery date and taking a quiz while at the 2nd appointment

3. Approval letter from the insurance company

The Holiday season is up on, it’s obvious that my Surgery won’t be next month like I wanted . It will be in January

Can we make a Facebook group so we can chat daily and cheer each other along?

I’m in! My surgery is December 10th. I’m having the gastric sleeve done in Mexico. My insurance won’t cover it.

My surgery is set for 01/31/2022. Excited but worried.

I just got off the phone with the surgeon! Mine is also scheduled for 1/31/2022!!

I just heard from my doctor that my surgery is scheduled for Jan 18th. I am super excited! I've decided on the RNY due to GERD and heartburn that I currently suffer from.

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you. With the Holiday I was not able to get on here.

I am excited. Trying to get everything in order is a challenge.

Here another one who has scheduled his surgery on 18th. I've decided the sleeve though. Good luck!
