I've been reading on here for a while and just got my surgery date today! Friday I go to my nutrition class. My mom is worried because she doesn't know why they haven't sent me to see a pyschologist. Has everyone had to do that?

Usually the psych test is before the surgery date and the nutritionist, maybe they think you got it already. Congrats on getting your date though!!!:whoo:

Hi Jen Congrats,, I hope my surgery dates is around the first half of the month of January too. My first date to see the doctor is tomorrow, I am a nervous reck, but trying to stay busy.

I have a house full of people on the weekend before Christmas, so I don't think I like to have it done before, and I doubt if he want me to as I am sure he will require a 2 week diet at least.

I will post again once I have my date, and I will do the Dance of Joy!! :whoo:

I did not have to have a psych. eval. I am a self-pay though and I don't know if that matters.
