Maintaining Erection

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

It's been a year and a half since my surgery and I have lost a lot of weight, but seem to have an issue with maintaining an erection...

The sex drive is better but yet i find problems keeping a hard on, don't know if losing muscle could be a reason..

Would like to hear your opinions /advice

Thanks fellas

I would say this is a good question to take to a Dr. There are a lot of potential causes. Blood pressure, testosterone, medications, and of course mental issues. Ill be straight up honest I had a short bout with this. I was also having dizziness. It ended up being that I had lost enough weight that my blood pressure had improved and my blood pressure meds were making my blood pressure too low. My Dr. took me off and I have been 100% better.

Talk to your doc. It's not a muscle thing at all, it's a pressure and valve thing. I had some issues for a bit with the meds I was on, once I got off all of them, no issues.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
