Adding semaglutide

Hello everybody.

I had a mini gastric bypass probably 20 years ago. I think I lost 50 pounds to 60 pounds over the course of a year. However, I started to regain weight and my diabetes returned for no real reason. However, I’ve been on Ozempic for my diabetes and I have lost significant weight. Probably 50 pounds I weigh 190. originally 270. 230 when I started Ozempic

Does anybody else have similar Results if they are on a semaglutide and bypass surgery?

Not exactly your circumstance....I was on Victoza.

When I first started on Victoza, I lost about 30 lbs. over 6 months. Most of it from nausea and some reduced appetite. The appetite reduction went away. I stayed on Victoza after starting my weight loss prep program and lost about another 20 lbs. That was mostly from healthier eating. Blood sugars were decent.

I stopped all diabetic meds on the day of my surgery in December 2020. Have lost 110 since surgery. Sugars remain good.
