Hi! I have finally decided that the lap band is the best way to go for me. I have struggled with the weight issue since my 2 daughters were born. Now is the time in my life to think about my health in the long run.
My first consultation is set for December 14th. I'm kinda concerned that they will turn me down for surgery because my BMI is 39.1 They told me that they usually don't consider a person a good candidate unless they have a BMI of 40 or above. I guess time will tell!
