Alternatives on Full Liquid Diet

Hello All! I have just three days left on the Full liquids diet, but know that some of the things I'm eating now will continue into my puree/blended diet. Can anyone offer an alternatives of liquids other than protein shakes, protein water, and yogurt/pudding? I find myself craving savory/salty things instead. Like just a lick of some alfredo sauce or something that I can actually consume that is savory.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Anastasia

I went to Panera and got their Summer Corn Chowder and strained it and ate that. Oh my goodness, yum! I also did some Miso soup and avoided the chunks (confession time, I had a chunk of tofu, in about 6 bites!) But any soup will work. Good luck, this too shall pass!

My wife and I had some strained broth based soups. After surgery we did the same until soft food stage and then we blended them. We ate a few soups from a take out restaurant and blended them as our Thanksgiving meal. It was quite enjoyable to have some awesome soup while everyone else enjoyed their food.
