Anyone have a cold pre-op?

I'm going for my nutrition class and pre-admission testing tomorrow. Surgery is scheduled for Dec.27th.

I'm soooo worried that they won't do the surgery if this stupid cold doesn't go away.

Has anyone else had a cold before surgery?

I had a horrible cold the week before my surgery and they postponed the surgery because of it. Three weeks later I was fine and ooooh soooo glad that I was healthy for my surgery. The smallest little cough will cause a lot of pain so I can't even imagine if I had a cough from a cold or oh my gosh a sneeze. Ouch!!!

Yes, I had a cold the week of my surgery and was coughing pretty bad that morning. I did just fine although dealing with the cough for a week or so afterward was rather painful.
