Getting clearance from neurology

I have had 2 strokes, my last one being almost 5 years ago. The surgeon who I'm wanting to do my gastric sleeve is wanting clearance from my neurologist. No biggie. I'm just curious who else has a history of stroke who's had the gastric sleeve done. Were there concerns? How was recovery?
