Waiting is such a pain!!!

So I am at the VERY beginning of my journey. I found a hospital that I like and they have been super helpful. I'm currently waiting for approval from my insurance company so I can schedule my appointment. I wish that the hospital was closer but it's still in my state and it's around a 4 hour drive. Has anyone in SC gone through Roper St Francis in Charleston for their surgery? How was your experience? How long did you have to wait to hear back about your insurance?

Waiting for anything right now is a pain lol.

I am in southern ca with Kaiser so I can’t answer your insurance questions. But I did have a lot of hoops I had to jump through (weight loss, classes, tests, psych eval, ekg, etc) and I finished in December..... yet ......I’m still waiting. Everything was shut down due to covid so you will find LOTS of people who are impatiently waiting and you will be in very good company ?

Yeah I looked into going to California since I have family there but I decided to stay in state. I hope you get your surgery soon
