bummed

so today started as a really good day. i was so excited and happy about my progress as this morning i hit the 180's! yes, only 189, but still, yippee for me!

then this afternoon i printed the pictures of our company christmas party from this past weekend. now i feel like crap again! omg, i look so huge. my face is all really fat and my eyes are all squinty. i thought i would be lookin better in photos, but NO!, i dont!

urg, how something so simple can just totally ruin my mood and outlook. it just sucks!

sorry, i just had to vent.

Sweetheart- pictures can not capture the trueness of your beauty, as they are only one dimensional. You lost 26 pounds and you are at 189 pounds!!!! :welldone2:I think that is so wonderful, amazing, and something that you should be proud of. If it were me I would go home and take tons of pictures until I found the one that I liked the best. Put on your favourite outfit, do your makeup, hair, and then it is lights, camera, action! :) :)

You know pictures depend on alot of things to make them look good! If the cameraman has no idea about light, angles, ect you are doomed. You are doing great, keep up the good work! Don't let a damn picture put you down!

I understand how you feel. I have gone through the same kind of thing several times since banding. I will start feeling good and thinking I am looking better, and then moments happen when I feel so frustrated- like I am still way fat, have a ton to lose, etc. I think this is just going to be a process. Sometimes it is easy to celebrate successes, and sometimes it is easy also to stress over how far still to go... But atleast this time we know there is definitely going to be success at the end of this long tunnel. We can do it!
