Question about kidney stones

I am currently taking the barimelts all in one multivitamin and the barimelts Calcium supplements.

in the past I had a kidney stone and I am feeling pain in the same spot and am wondering if either one of these cause kidney stones. I am drinking plenty of water, and was told this is calcium citrate which doesn’t cause kidney stones.

does anyone have any knowledge about this? I’m just having incredibly bad back pain and wondering

      I know too much calcium can cause kidney stones - but I didn't know about calcium citrate. I didn't have kidney stones, but I was excreting WAY too much calcium and had to quit supplements altogether

    It seems to be more of an imbalance of things, rather than strictly too much or little. My wife had them for a while, even though she was strictly on calcium citrate as specified.
