No sure if this is normal...please help!

Hi, I've been sick with a cold the last few days. I can drink and eat mushies fine but normal food I can't seem to tolerate. I'm a lot tighter and feel a slight pain (on side) when I cough. Has anyone else felt like this when sick? or does it have nothing to do with being sick and should go see my doctor?

Thanks!

when I get sick, I get really tight. I had a nasty PB episode the Sunday after thanksgiving, I was eating something normal, and I felt okay, but it just kind of krept up on me. The next day I have a full blown cold, and I believe they're related. I went on liquids for a few days, then to mushies, then back to solids a couple of days ago just to be safe.

Being sick will do it to me, I just didn't know I was sick yet, heh.

A cold will make you feel a LOT tighter! When snot drains into your stomach it is a huge irritant to your stoma. I'd stick with soft foods during this time.
