Hello! I am currently 7 months pregnant and have wanted to get sleeve surgery for some time, but then I got pregnant! I see a lot of posts about getting pregnant post-sleeve but my question is how long after delivering my baby would I be able to get the sleeve done? Has anyone done it soon after giving birth? Thanks so much!

This probably isn’t helpful, but I’m having mine done in December and my baby will be 12 months in December. When I started the process in September, no one seemed bothered with how long it had been.

However, they were concerned when I was still breastfeeding. I wouldn’t be able to breast feed and have the surgery. They explained because of the lack of nutrition during the pre-op and then post-op phase. I’m no longer breastfeeding so it isn’t an issue.
