Posting Pictures thrad???

Is there a thread on how to post pictures? I did it the way that I am used to doing it on other forums and it did not work. Someone please instruct me in the ways of the wise... I know it seems like everybody on here has problems posting pictures and it sure would be nice to have a Sticky on the forums that explain this topic in detail.
