Grateful for this tool, especially now

I was thinking this morning. With the current Shelter in Place requirements, working from home, and having to cook most of my meals - pre surgery I would have definitely gained weight. I would have eaten my feelings and stressed, and I probably wouldn't have made it a point to walk everyday. With this surgery I am losing weight. It's not easy. I am fighting head hunger every day. And yes, I'm still stressed, but walking is not only good physically, it's good mentally - getting fresh air and sunshine.

Wishing everyone health and happiness. Stay safe and take care of yourselves!

Lori, You are so right. I was thinking the same thing. If it weren't for surgery March 12th, I'd probably be baking up a storm and eating most of it.

Best of luck to you. Stay strong and safe.

Yeah, I so hear you guys on that one. Sometimes i forget now that when I "screw up" it's not even anywhere close to what it would have been without the surgery. I sometimes think that Ive overeaten on some days and when I look at my food journal, it's just that ive eaten a small bit more. Obviously, I dont want to keep that up, but it's reasuring that my body tells me now instead if having no feelings before.
