December 20th. Yep - just before Christmas. Yay - no more crazy holiday eating for me!

DH and I were suppose to get our first fill on Dec 5. Unfortunately, he is going to the Floridia Keys that week:rolleyes:, so we can't get in until Dec 19.

My Dr appt is the 11th but I doubt I will be filled because I am not the least bit hungry and that is what they look for.

I am not at all upset by that. I can only eat about 1/4 of food max at a sitting, so I think I have some restriction going on.

Geeee. I WISH I could only eat a 1/4 cup at a time. I limit it to a cup (as per doc's instructions), but I could eat more. I did once and regretted it. LOL I stay at a cup and feel a *little* bit unsatisfied, but doing my best to get away from the table. So yes, I have a little bit of restriction, but not where it should be. I'm limiting my daily calories under 900 and so far haven't gone over 800.

With a band date of 11/1/07, I think my fill is later than most of you...1/8/08. My doctor is very conservative and will not fill for anything more than two months at a time...and if I am still losing, (which I am because I am up to four times a week of cardio and weight training-hired a trainer), I think I will have lost quite a bit and don't know if I will get the fill...but we will see.

solaa - That's what I'm worried about with mine. I have no idea if he'll say "no fill" if I'm still losing. But really, I'm just eating a lot less than I used to by choice. The beginning of a diet is always the easiest and most thrilling - the weight drops right off. But I know I'm going to need that fill to keep going. If I find out he won't fill because I'm still losing, I guess I'll have to go back and eat more. :P

I was banded on 1 Nov and my first fill is next Wed, 12 Dec. I think I am now ready for a fill. Even though I have been eating under 900 cals a day, I have noticed in the last few days that I could eat a little more.

I was banded on Nov. 5th. So far I've lost 31lbs since surgery and I definately can tell I have restriction. I just saw my Dr. this morning. He and I are very pleased with how things are going. He is also very conservative with fills. I have nothing scheduled right now. I will see him again in 2 months. Maybe by then I'll need something.

My first fill is Dec. 17th. I've needed a fill since 2 weeks out! lol I want to start losing weight again. I'm envious of those people who have restriction without a fill.

Can't wait for my first fill experience on 12/11/07. I'm getting kind of hungry, but I am doing a good job at fighting it. :hungry:

Had my first fill today! I found out I have a 10 cc band, with 3 cc's already in from surgery. He put 1 cc in. The doc was VERY happy with my weightloss. He says I'm on par so far with his bypass patients! And he didn't want to give me a fill - I said no way, I'm hungry! So he did. It wasn't that bad. He didn't give me any numbing medication or anything, and it hurt a bit, then a bit of pressure, but it wasn't intolerable or anything. Now that I know what it feels like, the next one won't be as bad.
