Air pockets

I am 5 1/2 years out from gastric bypass and for the last three months I have been getting air pockets that are very painful. It is hard to burp and it can last for hours. Has anyone else had this?

Have you changed the way you are breathing, eating or drinking in that time? Might be time for a visit to a doctor....

Might be time for a visit to a doctor....

Yes, I've been getting this under my left ribs. Very painful. It seems worse when I eat gluten, so I'm trying to modify my diet.

Embarrassing to admit I suffer with it too. My husband has to burp me. I lay over his lap as he taos away until it gets worked out.
