Vitamins

Vitamins, after bypass..

Suggestions please - I had regular gummies since last year, took Flinstones right after my sleeve in 2015.

Now getting a revision next week, want to make sure I have a good vitamin on hand for when I get home.

Thanks

most surgeons do not recommend gummies.

as far as Flintstones, the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery does not recommend children's vitamins, but oddly, a lot of surgeons still suggest those (mine did - but I didn't take them because of the ASMBS recommendations).

I take Centrum Silver or the generic equivalent (Walgreens and CVS both have generics of these). You have to take two a day to meet the requirements. I took the chewables for the first few months, then switched over to regular tablets.
