There is not one person in here who has not had head games! No doubt you re not alone, yes this is very difficult to adjust to the new life of healthy and fit! Vs the old life that would have killed us all!

As for loving myself Im a guy so not into all that emotion, but surely alot happier

Good luck

I've always identified myself according to my weight. High weigh = low selfeestem = staying in. At my lowest at 60 around ten years ago, I was the party girl of the town. I owned all the clothing, and all the make up and it was sooo very important to alway be on fleek.

Progressing weight = clothes and apperance not that important. Loosing weight = it becomes more and more important.

I had to forgive and let go of my former self.

Find adventures, make up for lost time, do the things your body wouldn't allow you to do. remember the things you enjoyed as a kid, take time for yourself and discover who you are and what brings you joy.

Thank you everyone! Don’t get me wrong I am super happy that I had surgery and feeling healthier and I’m totally happy with my decision.. I just feel that when I was chunky I loved myself and I knew who I was within.. and recently I’ve been having mental battles where I question who am I now, I feel like I have to re find myself like I’m a total complete different person.. I feel happy with my results and health but it’s became mentally hard within

I am now 10 days post op and I am down 16lbs. I had an allergic reaction to the glue my doctor used so I am still sore and trying to keep moving to not get stiff.

Hello,  I am brand new on here.
The doctor qualified me yesterday for the surgery, so now I have to take 12 weeks of education classes and then he said they will schedule the surgery 4-6 weeks after I complete the classes.
I am excited to start this new journey.

Am at the half-way mark of the six month pre-op program.  So excited!  Got clearance from psychologist this morning, so I scheduled my surgery consult for early March.  It is becoming more real now.  Have lost 18 pounds so far, since I began this journey on 12/18/19.

So months ago, the Kid thought it would be funny to create an account on here and troll me with it.  Figured out it was her a few days later, and had a laugh about it.  She's been trolling me on it ever since.
This morning I went on to post something and realized after the fact that I posted using her account as she was on my laptop last night 🙄
      Trolling over, Kid.
