One month post op-Diet?

I am almost one month post op and have been in a stall for a week :( Dropped 20lbs in the first couple weeks. Hopefully it's about to break though. I am down a couple more this morning. So my doctor had me start soft foods about a week ago and in our plan at one month I can try new things. I've pretty much had no issues adding in anything and so I tried grilled chicken and broccoli. I chewed it really well and no issues. But is it normal to add in chicken so early? Has anyone else seemed to move through the eating states this easy and quick?

I've eaten chicken once so far and I was fine. My doctor didn't specify when I could have chicken, just that I could have pureed foods 3 weeks PO which included chicken on the list
