Post Surgery Secret....we will see....

I am off to surgery this am. I have not read this yet on the forum but thought I would mention it. When I went to my pre-op meeting, our coordinator told us to walk and walk after surgery. She told us that they want us to walk 20 minutes for every hour we are awake for the next 4 days or so... Think about it...that is a lot of walking. She said it is to reduce the pain from the trapped gas and also to prevent blood clots from forming. I guess I will be doing a lot of walking. I will let you know how it goes.
