Cycle

Sorry guys.....anyone else’s periods get all messed up after the procedure? I got my period July 6 and got it again this morning. I’m usually every 28 days on the dot. I know the sleeve messes with hormones, does it affect monthly cycles too?

Yep - I'm 8 months out and my cycles are all f'ed up. Anywhere from 2 weeks to 8 weeks - and there is no rhyme or reason to when I'll get it.

common problem - if you do a search, you're likely to find a lot of posts on it. Has to do with the infamous "hormone dump", they say (fat cells store estrogen - which start to flood your system as you lose weight)
