Abnormal EKG

Good Evening,

I am well on my road to WLS.

However, I get the results back from my pre-op tests and the only negative that came back was my ecg.

It said it was abnormal. ? I just want to know if this is going to holdup or even cancel my surgery at all.

I have been thinking about having WLS for at least 8 years. Now I have come so far only to possibly be setback forever.

Has anyone had this happen to them? If so, what was/were the outcome.

Your knowledge is greatly appreciated. My surgery is scheduled for 06/03/19.

Thanks in Advance (Sigh)?

  • It really depends on what was abnormal and if they need follow up tests. Many people have an abnormal ekg but it doesn’t cause an physical symptoms or problems

And @ Purpledva keep us updated as Surgery draws closer and closer! My own cardiac latest blip turned up relatively okay, [emoji173]scan turned out pleasing to my PCP, BP is pretty stable so BP medicine to keep my Aneurysm not needed now . Last BP was 116/68, for someone my age that's darn good. So final thought process, IS I just got a weird little functional [emoji173]murmer, just another way I show I am an individual, a True Limited Edition. So may everything go smoothly for YOU, looking forward to hearing Good Things![emoji13]
