Hello!

I just scheduled my surgery for Dr. Alvarez at Endobariatrics.

I will be having a lap band revision to a sleeve. to say I am nervous is an understatement. I had always had "thoughts" previously about having surgery in Mexico but after a ton of research I feel good about my decision.

Did anyone else have surgery with them? How did it go?

I did not have surgery with them but using Dr. Kuri in Mexico. He did my band and I have had it slip gained weight back and pretty much having a major esophageal issue with food going to my repository and larynx. The past 8 months has been torture to even understand what was going on with me since I kept being diagnosed with upper respiratory infections. Anyways I go in on May 29 for my revision. I am nervous for the fact of I am not sure of how much repair needs to be done to my esophagus and of pain, I think that is what is giving me anxiety.
