My sleeve was an outpatient. I thought they were crazy, but everything turned out well. I ended up staying in the facility for 2 hours. They wanted to make sure I could walk and used the restroom before leaving.

You'll be fine. Best of luck!

You weren’t there long at all! My surgeon said the surgery only takes 20 minutes.

Oh ok. I’m in Birmingham,Alabama. Were you in and out in two hours?

Are the gas pains as bad as I’ve heard?
I experienced some discomforts but nowhere as near the pain that I've heard people talk about on here. When I felt uncomfortable, I would take a quick walk and that seemed to work just fine.
