Just going through the initial tests.

I had the lap band for almost 10 years and it quit working the last 4 years with big problems. The tubing was rubbing the vagus nerve and eventually led to A-flutter. Now I'm pursuing the sleeve. I am struggling to not gain all of the weight. I'm using a Fitbit and My Fitness Pal. I have put on a lot of weight, and all I want is the freedom of movement back. Interested in hearing any feedback.

Try a diet similar to the liver shrinking pre-op diet you will be on for the VSG.

I was on 4.5oz lean protein and 1-2 cups of vegetables OR a premier protein shake 4x a day. No more than 3 servings of fruit or yogurt per day. <50gr carbs daily.

After 3 days, I no longer felt hungry all the time and I started losing weight fairly quickly.

I'm continuing my lap band meals, protein, protein. protein. I can't use the powder ones they make me ill and crampy. I've discovered Boost high protein drink and love it so I'm using it. I can use plant protein powder or vegan protein. Just waiting for the tests to be done. Thanks for the advice.
