Has anyone else heard the recent warnings about a "super bug" associated with WLS in Mexico? My mom and aunt want me to research this before doing surgery there. It seems like the news stories have come out within the past two weeks. It's upsetting because I've set my kind on going to do this.

It's a real thing. It's connected with specific surgeons and facilities. Google and you'll see the latest warnings.

One article did not mention any hospital or doctor name. Another listed Grand View Hospital and a Dr Mario Almanza. It also stated there were several cases from an as yet undisclosed hospital.
