Do you mean H. pylori? Yes I have it. The proton pump inhibitors we take post sleeve are the same that I took for inflammation caused by the H. pylori, so no real difference

Yes.my surgery date is April 1 st.tested positive for h pylori.my dr said he still would perform surgery as long as I been on antibiotics for a week.just was wondering if anyone else had gastric sleeve while while on antibiotics for h pylori?

I wasn't on the antibiotics before the surgery, but I assume he wants you on them to decrease all inflammation in the stomach caused by the h. pylori so the surgery goes smoother?
