Chest pain after sleeve

Hi everyone! I’m a newbie!

I was sleeved a week ago and am really struggling. The pain is gone but today I woke up with a very upset stomach and the feeling of something being stuck in my esophagus. Every time I try to get down a sip of fluid i get chest pain like I’m full. Anyone else experience this? Almost feels like my sleeve is too small. Could it be acid reflux? Help please! Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for checking on me! ? Still feels hard to swallow. Maybe I just need more time. I’ll call my Dr next week if there’s no improvement.

Have you contacted your surgeon? You might have a stricture.

It’s probably acid reflux , are you on lansaprozole?

How are you doing Mama? I hope you are feeling better!

That’s normal . Your stomach goes under your right Breast at an angle . I had trouble swallowing water at the beginning

It gets easier, but truthfully i am 10 weeks out and if i eat anything to dense( ie i still cannot eat chicken salad!) its like your having major chest pains. And then whoopsie, back up it comes. Stick to the purées and yogurts as long as you need, good luck!
