I went through Bariatric Medical Institute in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Cottam and Dr. Medlin performed my surgery. The whole office is great. They did a great job taking care of me before, during and after surgery. I am now 7 months out from surgery and I have lost almost 90 lbs. I fall off the wagon and the dietitian and physical trainer are always there with support and guidance and NEVER judgmental or harsh with me. The approval process with insurance was frustrating. There was a lot of lack of communication. I had to be the squeaky wheel but that is my only complaint for this office. I recommend them so much that my husband is now having his consultation with them in two days.
