having sharp pains near port...please help

i have had my band for 3 weeks now and for the past 2 days i am having pain near my port or my belly button and its sensitive to the touch and is painful when i stand...is this normal?

I could just be healing or you could have a stitch either poking you or one that popped. I am 8 months out and mine at times is tender to the touch. If it is hot to the touch, or if it presist call you doctor.

I had bad port pain 10days out. My surgeon suggested liquid tylenol and a warm compress. The heat pad worked great, only needed to do that for 2 days.
