Im new here...

Hey all. I am new to this site. I was banded in 2005 and had lost over 80 pounds, unfortunally i had no medical insurance for a period of time and was unable to see a dr. i had started putting back on some weight. Now i have insurance and have seen a dr. and had recently gotten 2 fills. my band is 2.8 and the weight is still on. I do feel a slight restriction and i excreise 3x a week. my dr. said most patients bands are filled to 3.0+. my questions are..

for you out there that have been banded for a few years..how was your weight loss and have you maintained?

has anyones weight loss just stopped no matter what you do? please help!

thanks:help:

Cherub, I've been banded for 17 months. I've been at a stand still for a while now. I've only lost 65 lbs. I am waiting until after the holidays to go back up to 3.2 in my band. Typically I am a slow loser at 1 lb per week.
