Coughing

I had surgery on November 6th and had a slight cold going into surgery. Today, I have been coughing so hard and I am concerned about how it is affecting the inside. For the most part, I feel OK with exception of alot of gas but the coughing has me a bit concerned. The cough sounds and feels like bronchitas so it is a hardy strong cough. I feel fine just concerned about coughing. Anyone else with this issue?

    I Have Been Coughing Alot As Well, In The Hospital They Told Me To Put A Pillow On My Stomach And It Will Not Hurt So Much. My Cough Sounds The Same, Not Sure Why We Have It...but If It Stays Around Too Long I Am Gonna Call My Dr
