Surgeons all seem to vary in what you are allowed. I was allowed cottage cheese - are you? I added different things each meal for variety - chipotle, chilli, pesto, applesauce, mushed watermelon (watermelon on its own remains a huge favourite!)

Also, yoghurt with puréed fruit.

I love the chicken salad, it’s very tasty and a quick go to meal, easy to go down

I've been doing the world soup tour: cream of chicken and broccoli, miso soup with tofu, Mexican meatball soup with vegetables, heart healthy vegetarian chili with beans, wonton soup base with scallions and ginger—each one blended into oblivion via my Vitamix.

What's also good is that these freeze well, so I just have a taste of each and store the rest. I feel like I have variety and am not bored.
